Accountants ‘number one’ choice in key advice areas
New research shows hundreds of thousands of Australians with unmet advice needs would turn to an accountant over other professionals, but barriers including licensing and hesitation to value-add remain significant roadblocks to accountants capitalising on this opportunity. Research from Investment Trends indicates that there are 255,000 SMSF trustees citing unmet advice gaps, and of that group 133,000 would approach an accountant for professional advice.
